a typical maple nurl bowl --- this bowl has a very interesting burl pattern --you can see the growth pattern of the burl. Burl on western maple trees do grow very slow and sometimes there sre bark enclosures -- soemtimes I leave the bark enclosures as oart of the bowl design -
the size: diameter 5 and a height of 2 1/2inches
